BigCommerce is known from time to time running special promotions for their Essentials customers. And they have recently launched a new one that should please especially those who are serious about launching an ecommerce store with BigCommerce. With the new promotion you get 1 month free (presumably the same as 30 days) when you choose your plan.
How the 1 month free trial works:
- Step 1: Open BigCommerce account, you will be given the standard free trial of 15 days
- Step 2: Choose your BigCommerce Essentials Plan (if you are unsure about which might be the best plan for you, see this page for help)
- Step 3: Enjoy your free month
Limitations / restriction of the 1 month free trial: If you don’t cancel your account (which hopefully there is no need to do) you will be charged for the plan you picked. So, if you want to be careful and fear that you might forget to cancel your subscription, it might advisable to pick the Standard-plan, as it is the cheapest and hence would cost you the least money if you forget to cancel.
Good to know: This promo will likely end in the rather near future and it might not be available if you go directly BigCommerce’s website, i.e. without clicking a link you see on this page.
Speculation: If I’m understanding the free trial terms and conditions correctly, you could in theory get up to 45 day free trial with the 1 month promo. This thanks to the fact that, it might be possible to pick your plan on the last day of the standard 15 day free trial and then enjoy additional 30 days of the special 1 month free trial. However, this is not a guarantee, that it works like that :). Open your BigCommerce account.

Is BigCommerce a good choice for launching your online store? Yes. In my opinion it is one of the best ecommerce platforms, and if you are serious about ecommerce, it might very well be for you the best ecommerce platform.
